Deseret Singles is a dating app built by and for Latter-day Saints — a place where faith comes first and where connection, courtship, and eternal marriage are the point, not the fine print. We built it from scratch, for the way members of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints actually date.
Our mission is simple: help faithful Latter-day Saints find each other. For too long, members have had to wade through generic dating apps that treat shared faith, temple covenants, and the goal of an eternal family as an afterthought — or settle for older, clunky "LDS" apps that never quite worked. We think people who share what matters most deserve a modern, trustworthy home built around those values.
Deseret Singles brings a modern swipe-and-match experience together with the things that actually matter to Latter-day Saint singles: shared standards, honesty about intentions, and real safety. We want every member — whether they live in a Utah singles ward or somewhere far from the nearest congregation — to have a genuine shot at meeting someone who is looking for the same thing they are.

You do not need a current temple recommend to join. You set your own preferences, including how important temple attendance and Church activity are to you, so you can find someone whose standards genuinely match yours.

Safety is not a bolt-on for us. Profiles are verified so members can trust that the people they meet are real. SafeDate™, our built-in safety system, lets members share the details of an upcoming date so someone they trust knows where they are. Messages are moderated to keep community rooms and conversations respectful, and members can block or report anyone at any time. Personal contact information is never shared with other members, and a person's exact location is never shown.
